Järeltulijatele 1642-2021 - Kuno Raude

This book is created for the descendants of my generation and is dedicated to my ancestors from Viru and Livonia. The book “For the Descendants” contains currently known information about the predecessors of the Raude family and the heads of state who ruled during their lifetime, whose symbols are used as national symbols: coats of arms and flags. At the same time, brief information is provided about the wars that took place during the lifetime of my ancestors with the participation of Estonians.

The author’s life has been influenced by the Soviet occupation of 1940–1941, the German occupation of 1941–1944, the defensive battles of 1944 in Estonia, the years of his father’s prison camp of 1944–1954, the March deportation and the years in Siberia of 1949–1957, the Soviet occupation of 1944–1991, his studies at the Estonian Academy of Sciences, starting a family, and the restoration of the independence of the Republic of Estonia.

However, the main focus of the book is on describing the results of the author's activities from 1949 to 2021, including chronological information on studies, work, profession and legislation, projects, competitions and exhibitions, books, articles, presentations and speeches written, and brief descriptions of events abroad and in Estonia. The book contains 809 color and black-and-white photographs.
