When Mackenzie, Sunna and Maude move into a converted rental house, they are strangers to each other, united by only one thing - someone important has disappeared from their lives without a word. Mackenzie's sister, Sunna's best friend and Maude's fiance have all disappeared without explanation.

When a torn and almost illegible letter arrives in their shared mailbox, hinting at the long-awaited answers, they all assume the letter is for them. The mismatched trio decide to start hanging out at the cafe mentioned in the watch letter - their only clue - and in the process form a strange friendship. But the more they learn about each other, the more questions (and doubts) they have. At the same time, with eerie sounds and strange happenings in the house, it seems that they are not only haunted by spirits from the past…
