Sõnad on aur - Eduard Järs

Eduard Järs' name is not entirely unknown to our reader - in 1963 his story "The Wind Was Cold..." was published.
The background of this novel is the early fifties with its atmosphere of suspicion and hollow pathos, which is also indicated by the title of the work.
Through the story of Lembit Suursoo, a young actor with a not exactly "clean" background, we also gain insight into the life of two Estonian provincial theatres, the world of theatre intrigue, and the charms and troubles of theatre-making at that time.
