TV3's "Your Face Sounds Familiar" has been the most popular entertainment series in Estonia for five seasons, with an audience that has sometimes exceeded 400,000 viewers.
For all five seasons, the sharp-tongued judge on this show has been Olav Osolin, who has also been the only one to watch absolutely all the performances from the judges' bench, with which the participants have made people laugh heartily and sometimes brought tears to their eyes.
But in addition to that, Osolin has walked around behind the scenes of the TV show and seen with his own eyes what happens when the people's favorite Sunday evening program has not yet started, and also when the cameras have already been turned off. And because he didn't want to keep it all to himself, he wrote down his impressions in the book "These Faces Sound Familiar". This richly illustrated book tells a gripping story about the kitchen side and highlights of the show, through the eyes of both the author himself and other participants. This is an exceptionally fascinating read about the making of Estonia's most popular TV show, which should be of interest to both those who would like to relive its greatest moments, as well as those who have been eager for years to find out how it is actually done.
