This book does not claim to be a scientific study. Its purpose is to contribute to satisfying the widespread interest in plants growing in Estonia that can be used as medicinal raw materials or directly as medicine. The book is intended primarily for use by collectors of medicinal plants. In order to avoid mistakes when collecting plants, the book provides a brief description of the plant, a drawing, instructions for collecting and drying, and the most important national quality requirements. To facilitate the work of pharmacy workers, the book also provides the Latin and Russian names of the plant in addition to its literary and popular names.
