Nettle, nettle, sedge, burdock, buckthorn, dandelion and waterweed are like seven natural elves, each with their own character, a slightly bearish appearance, but a good heart. These seven weeds have saved Estonians from famine for centuries and helped with health problems. These gifts of nature are our Estonian ginseng, ginkgo, goldenrod, elecampane, ginger, golden mustache and curry. Nettle, nettle, sedge, burdock, buckthorn, dandelion and waterweed need much more respect and use than they do now.
