I had prejudices about the USA, as do those who have never been there or lived there. But five years ago I met someone I fell in love with. He is a tenth-generation American. In 2007 we got married and made a new home in Madison, South Dakota. I discovered a new world on the other side of the globe. But the basis is a love story that brought together an Estonian woman and an American man.

I wrote letters to friends in Estonia about my life in the USA, a selection of which has become a book. So, this is my book about discovering America.
