Madli-Liisi DOESN'T LIKE to read. No books or magazines. Not even the ice cream truck menu. Fortunately, Madli-Liis meets Pipa. Pipa is a reading dog, to whom reading aloud is great. When Madli-Liis gets stuck, Pipa doesn't mind. Madli-Liis can stroke him until he reads the word. It turns out that reading is fun. Pipa teaches Madli-Liisi that with a little effort and the help of a friend, everything will succeed.

Lisa Papp grew up telling stories. The first stories written in a notebook full of drawings were about his cat, stuffed animals and nature. To this day, he makes up stories and draws pictures, but now they fill the pages of children's books. When Lisa is not in the studio, she can be found in the garden talking to the birds, watching the bees, or dreaming of her next literary adventure. Lisa lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her artist husband Robert and three wildly creative cats, to whom she loves to read.

"Thank you to my furry friends and everyone who loves them. And for libraries, where real miracles are born." – Lisa Papp
