Saja lugu/The Story of One Hundred

A country is primarily people and the places where you meet them. These people and places are very different, full of paradoxes and the beauty of contradictions. The encounters form a kind of composite portrait of society at the present moment in the viewer's imagination. This is exactly what photographer Kaupo Kikkas' photo book "One Hundred Stories" does — he portrays Estonia through a hundred people, echoing the thoughts of the portrayed ones about life here, the quintessence of which is brought to readers by Laur Kaunissaare.
"One Hundred Stories" is a cross-genre masterpiece created for the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia as part of the Jazzkaar 2018 festival, which includes a photo book and a concert performance.
