While sorting through the antiques of a wealthy landowner, Glasgow auctioneer Rilke stumbles upon a collection of attic rarities that would fascinate any collector or bookseller. Suddenly, he comes across an envelope containing old photographs depicting shockingly violent scenes. Rilke is so disturbed by the discovery that he decides to investigate whether the photographs are staged or whether the women were actually murdered. Unaware that some secrets may remain secrets, Rilke sets out on a twisted path to uncover the truth.
