«Glass-eyed Christ» (1980) is a posthumous collection of short prose by Karl Ristikivi, compiled by his close colleagues B. Kangro, A. Mägi and V. Uibopuu.
The book contains both humorous short stories about villages published in the homeland before the war, as well as short poems and memories written in exile. In the latter, Ristikivi unusually clearly expresses his aesthetic and literary beliefs and reflects on the relationship between creator and creation. The collection with its varied content provides an excellent cross-section of Ristikivi's creative development and crowns his rich legacy.
