In the novel, the ordinary working relationship between a man and a woman in their thirties develops into a deep, all-encompassing affection. However, this happens thanks to high-risk situations and several trials, from which the title characters emerge as a charming couple thanks to good luck and their own cleverness.

The book fascinates the reader with the clearly recognizable state of life in modern Estonia -- colorful fragments from Tartu and Tallinn, but from Finland -- problems, mistakes and victories, and a little sun in the cold and salty sea water.
