The author's autobiographical memoir tells the story of the adventurous life of the boys of Supilinn in the 1950s, filled with dangerous everyday life, gang hierarchy and anarchism, thugs and poets, friendship, love and desire – as the boys in their early teens saw and felt it. The author has not forgotten the boy in himself, so the reader also feels the wind whistling in his ears.
