Tants aurukatla ümber - Mats Traat

The machine belt comes off. The servant leaves his hold by the stack, sneaks up to Maimu, who is raking the chaff onto the cloth, and grabs him around the body. Eed doesn't show great dexterity in frolicking, the main thing is to clumsily squeeze, tickle and touch the squealing girl in the straw, as much as she can. The girl throws a bunch of chaff in his face. The servant wipes his sweat-scratched face, spits acorns out of his mouth, and rushes at Maimu with a new force, so that the girl's green t-shirt rips under the arm. The village girls don't particularly tolerate Eed, she has brutal hands, she doesn't feel funny when she's crazy and hurts. The girl struggles and squeals in a shrill voice, her sleepy face angry. In the dim claw, the dust rises so thick that you can't even see the people struggling in the straw. Chaff stings under the clothes, young bodies are full of fire, hands and feet tangled, both panting.

"Take away the musu, where else are you hunting," teaches Sirgaste's summer girl, a sly old maid, from a stack of straw. She herself can't stand men, mercilessly scratches the eyes of anyone who wants to caress her, but she knows how to give advice to others perfectly. Perhaps this is partly why he is called the Cat-Painter. He slides himself off the stack to drink at the well until the machine stops.

Maimu has fought free and in turn pushed the boy into the straw; now he triumphs, his knee on the servant's breast. Eedi roars, her face red. He is ashamed that the girl was stronger than he thought.

"Don't be too quiet, Maimu, to such a handsome boy. Gentle people who own a man,» says Maali as he walks away.
