Kunstirahva akadeemia 2 - Heino Kiik

The documentary novel 1997-2009 «Artistic People's Academy» II is a somewhat fascinating report by Heino Kiige about a series of events in cultural life that have been largely hidden from the public until now.

Active people from six art fields create the Estonian Academy of Fine Arts on the basis of the Non-Profit Association Act. Since the private initiative does not find financial support, this academy transforms itself into an initiative group that applies for the establishment of the Estonian Academy of Fine Arts under public law, analogous to the Academy of Sciences, through an Act of the Riigikogu.
