In this book, Fritz Riemann shares his experiences of responsible astrological counseling. He is convinced that by intelligently interpreting astrology, a person can better understand himself and others, clarify his orientation, opportunities and dangers, but he sees no help in fatalistic predictions of "happiness" or "misfortune".

Unlike astrology, which is based on rigid prognostics, this book shows the limits of horoscope interpretation. It is a fascinating connection between psychoanalytic and astrological concepts, depicting an astrological way of thinking based on symbols, different from natural scientific thinking.
