In the fourth book of Ira Tever's stories, the investigator must unravel a serious traffic accident that occurred in Köismäe rural municipality. The driver of the car that crashed on a sharp bend is in a coma and the unidentified woman who was the passenger has died. The traces at the scene of the incident have been scattered, because the case is only processed by forensic experts weeks later, when it turns out that the deceased woman had been killed even before the accident. Ira suspects that the accident may have been arranged to cover up a murder. Having set out to establish the identity of the deceased woman, the investigation reaches several Scandinavian countries. However, investigator Tever does not believe that the reasons for the woman's violent death should be sought so far. He takes confessions from local residents, and during the investigation of the accident, much more comes to light that has been kept secret until now.
