Raami sees - Dick Francis

Dick Francis, a jockey turned writer, was able to capture the reader's attention from the very first pages of his books. And of course, his books always featured horses and people involved in racing. There is a lot of money involved in the world of racing and horses, and it attracts criminals. This, in turn, makes for excellent material for a crime writer.

In the book "Inside the Frame", the main character is not a jockey, but an artist who loves to paint horses, who discovers while visiting his brother that his sister-in-law has been killed and the brother is accused of murder. A desperate race against time ensues to save his brother, but at one point the hero of the novel notices that his life is also in danger.

Francis's books are very fast-paced and can be read in one sitting. After his death in 2010, his son Felix Francis has continued to write the books.
