Peitusemäng - Ian Rankin

A dead junkie is found lying on the floor between two candles in an empty house in Edinburgh. A five-pointed star is drawn on the wall above him. At first it seems that it is just another outcast who has overdosed, but John Rebus starts to feel suspicious. And little by little, the indifference, treachery, filth and deceit hidden under the city's shiny surface are revealed to his eyes.
