Almost 14-year-old Zoe is completely alone, she has no friends and no one understands her. But she has an imaginary companion, Zara. When this accidentally comes to light, her classmates start teasing Zoe, sometimes becoming downright cruel. However, on a class excursion, Zoe is able to prove to herself and others that she is not a nanny, and in the end she doesn't even need Zara anymore. Children's stuff is a thing of the past.
