This book contains 12 short or long stories written for children. They are suitable for reading aloud to younger children as well as for independent reading by older children. The author emphasizes that he only writes poems and stories for children that their mothers and fathers would also like.

Wimberg (real name Jaak Urmet) has previously published poetry collections for children «Buratino laulud», «Põngerjate laulud» and «Härra Padakonn». He has been the scriptwriter for the ETV children's series «Buratino is at work again» and is currently writing the script for the ETV children's series «Saame kokku Tomi juures» with Jaanus Vaiksoog.
