At the beginning of 1965, the Military Tribunal of the Red Banner Baltic Fleet announced that since the proven composition of my crime was not complete, I was rehabilitated. The military unit, probably the one that arrested me, sent me “salary” on a money card – a whole 29 rubles and 65 kopecks. Yes, at that time I could have bought cheap shoes and trousers for that… So, from November 1, 1944 to November 27, 1964 (the latter according to the document, not the report), i.e. a little over 20 years, the NKVD-MVD-KGB kept me in iron grips.
